It sucks and I hate it. Especially if you're just trying to help them. This is just me venting, so don't mind me.

Same… I've been ignored all week by my friends and family and it's kinda nudging me into depression and I'm trying to stay positive but it's difficult when most people refuse to acknowledge my existence

My dad always pays me no attention. When he does, he's mocking me…

@Skitlation It's fine, just let it all out. People are jerks.

@SaltyLasaga How rude of them! They're supposed to be the ones who give you the MOST attention. Why would they do that? (If you don't mind my asking; if you do, then feel free to not answer)

Honestly, I don't know. They've probably gotten tired of me, all of my friends eventually do lol

MY DAD
HE WENT AND ASKED ME IF I WANTED PICTURES OF WHEN WE WERE ALL STILL A FAMILY
I said no and that it's the past and while it happened, I'd rather not dwell on it.
He called me f—— stupid because I said that.

And then there's been times where he's made food and I'd tell him I'm not hungry. And then he'd say 'Oh so you're anorexic now huh' and 'so you're starving yourself just like your mom did' and so now I don't eat at all there out of spite.

AND I HAVE BEEN VISITING HIM FOR 5 YEARS.
THREE OF THOSE YEARS I HAVE BEEN ON A AIR MATTRESS IN THE LIVING ROOM
TWO OF THOSE YEARS I'VE BEEN ON A COUCH IN THE LIVING ROOM
And then we just moved and I FINALLY got my own room. But I had a mattress now on the floor.
No sheet. A stained, old mattress with an old blanket and old pillows.
We've been living here for now six months and I still have the old pillows and blanket and mattress. I've recently gotten an addition of an old bed frame.
But my brother got a brand new futon in a week of being at the new house.

That was long sorry just needed to let it out.

Hmph, their loss if you ask me. I consider both of you my friends now, if that means anything. I'll never understand why people are so cruel to the ones they're supposed to be protecting. If you need help just ask any of us and we will help as best we can. And when you get rich and famous one day, YOU can pretend not to know THEM.

You'll do more than that: you'll discover a new element, develop your own business, be the CEO of said business, buy three houses for yourself, invent something that makes you famous worldwide, AND win the lottery TWICE :)

I'm hella attached to my friends lmao, so honestly I feel like it's my fault lol. And @Skitlation I'm sorry about your dad. That was kind of a series of dick moves if you ask me

You will have a large mansion in the countryside with a squad of tough bodyguards who are also great chefs, and people will come from all over and ask how you became so perfect.

Yeah he's pretty emotionally/verbally abusive to me (Those are just a few instances… I literally have a mental list of all the instances. Ugh)

No like when you ask for help in an rp, but everyone ignores you and rps like you're not there.

Ah yeah I get what you're saying. Happens to me as well. Then you have your character say something but no one responds…
I just roll with it. My characters are ones that prefer to be ignored so it doesn't bother them.
Or if it does they hide it.
Yikes I'm laying down the angst for my children.

Also when you ask for help and everyone ignores you.
