For me, it has to be Reylo. Yes, his backstory's a bit cliche, but I think he embodies the character that I wanted him to be very well(someone who isn't really sure where he belongs, someone who doesn't want to go to the 'dark side' because he knows how terrible it really is but feels he is too corrupted to come back to the light)and struggles with his past in a very real manner.
One of my favorites is Astrid (hence the username)
Her past is very rough but it shapes her beautifully into the person I need her to be. (Someone who struggles with life on the run and love interest. Love interest that turns out to be someone entirely different from the person she thought she knew) She is one of the most broken and torn-apart characters I've ever written and I absolutely adore her.
:))
My favorite character I have ever written is a witch named Selenity. She North-African and she has pink hair. She has lovely moon earrings and snake bites. She does not take anything from anybody and refuses to back down from a fight. She is not afraid to speak her mind. She has a rough past that is also sorta cliche but cliches are cliches because they are good, right? Her black eyes show her peers who is boss, and her body language is that of an old martial artist. Thanks for letting me share!
