So I am an avid shipper who likes a bit of romance in all her stories, and ships are something I look for in most of the things I read/watch. It's really fun to think up ship names and talk about which ones would 'sail', which would 'sink', etc. Then I got to thinking: What if ships were portrayed as actual, Pirates-of-the-Caribbean style warships, with a crew and cannons and everything? I think it would be very cool, so I'm thinking of writing a short story about just that.
Is there anyone who would like to read it and/or talk about the concept?
My number one question… how would irl ships be portrayed? (Coming from someone who was shipped with someone and we actually started dating.)
Hmm, I never actually thought about it. I'll have to get back to you on that.
OMG!!! i found people who actually like shipping!!!!
Boi i can tell you stories
I think almost everyone who's on this site does…
true. My friend got me hooked onto this site she told me about it and i was like oh heck yeah!
That's the point…
Add more craziness to the world…
That's the writers' job…
ye. so have you shipped anybody in the past month?
my friend glared at me for a full week for me shipping her, it was hilarious
yeah. Then he found out and like chased me like an idiot and was like how dare you, funny thing is we were all friends.

To answer your question, it should work the same way as fictional ships. I'm still working on the system though.

For some reason, this reminds me of Hetalia.
