Hello, I’m Australian and I recently heard the phrase ‘un-American’ and I’m curious to know what it actually means. I’m not having a go at anyone or trying to insult anyone or anything like that, I’m just curious.

Hey, Brit here. Un-American probably means something that goes against traditional US values or patriotism.

well, from what i know, racist people call it anything foreign
and regular people just call it anything that goes against the US
