@Hey_Its_Snowy_And_Im_Generally_Confused
I have a plot figured out, but I canβt think of how to start it.

Heyeyyeyeye start with a simple sentence and end the story with the same sentence
But make it upbeat at the beginning but at the end make it seem morbid and scaryyeyyeye
Wow ππ No thanks
It depends on what type of story. If she is in a dark place or it has to deal with magic or the beginning starts with action you could use "the silence woke her." but like I said it depends on what type of story you are writing. I wish you the best of luck!
Think of your plot, and start as close to the beginning as possible. Is it about a girl getting kidnapped? Start as close to the kidnapping as possible. Is it about someone discovering a new world? Start as close to them discovering it as possible while still giving the reader some time to see them in their normal life, like a day or two before. Is it about a miracle child? You could probably like get away with a scene about their birth and then skip to like their fifteenth birthday, right before their ability to call upon the undead awakens, or something like that.
