I was in a play ‘Knights of the Rad Table’ play which was hilarious, it was when Gwen and Arthur came from modern times and time travel. At the end, (I was one of the knights) the knights had to skateboard across the stage, but one of the cast forgot to pick up a prop, so everyone but myself fell when we were skating across the stage.

Lol, yeah I'm signing up for a drama class this year.

Same

My fam did backyard plays with our friends (whose family contains more girls then boys) for several summers, and one summer we all wanted to do The Wizard of Oz (Which wasn't easy considering the fact that we had only two boys who could memorize a decent chunk of words). So my dad wrote up a version that could work for us! I was the Cowardly Lion and Sly was the Wicked Witch (who turned good in this version because we weren't sure how execute melting in our backyard).

I once joined an acting class thing with my friend but I wasn't able to stay in it sadly, and I haven't done anything since then other then a few classes in school haha Im too awkward and nervous to do it anymore though

@Wry_Wyvern

(It's really hard to find plays where the girls outnumber the boys .-.)

Yep. Which is annoying for schools.
Random play: At least 70% of these characters are male.
School drama program: Ya we've got 5 guys and only 2 of them are good.

lol the three good guy singers at my old school graduated last year, that's how I ended up as Oberon and two of my friends ended up as Bottom and Snout.

Hi, I haven't actually been in a drama class before, but I've done dramatic poetry readings and was in a Christmas production in the fifth grade
Sigh.
But I'm joining drama this year and I was wondering if you guys could give me some tips or pointers?

@Joneathan

I don't really have any tips lol. I help out at the local theatre as like props, makeup, and sometimes sound. But every year for the 8th grade we put on Romeo and Juliet. We always try to make it more fun like one year everyone did terrible Australian accents. Another year everyone had some sort of wheels. Like Juliet had rollerblades and the nurse had a skateboard.

Always put emotion into your words when acting. You be better off if you messed up with emotion in your voice rather than perfect script memorizing with no emotion. And if you mess up, forget about it. If you recover well, the mess up is no big deal.

Idk if I helped, but good luck in drama :)
