@SlightlyIrritatedScientist our experiences r different ! i like 2 type the way i like 2 type :) im not hurting anybody. im typing like an adult bc i am an adult :)

you're hurting my braincells every time I try to figure out what the fuck you're writing

@darling-velocipede group

basically: those are dumb vegans and vegetarians. and just dumb people

ye i feel bad calling them dumb bc they're making a decision that really is good for the planet even if it's markedly more work/money for them but like seriously the concept of "bees" is not that difficult to grasp

You are not typing like an adult, you're typing like a middle schooler. I'm 4 years younger than you and am typing like an "adult". You are hurting my eyes, my brain, and my latent obsessive-compulsive tendencies. Cease.

@HighPockets group

It is not ableist to point out that something a disabled person is doing is irritating. Miriam has every right to be annoyed by horrid grammar.

it's not abelist, you're just typing like a dumbass and it's annoying

I don’t think it’s ableist when we bring up a very solid point about how this is indeed a writing website, and good grammar and spelling is basically a given, especially when you’re an adult. And also, being an adult, you think you’d have found more ways to cope? Of course I’m not on the spectrum but I know a few people very close to me who are…

@Mojack group

I’m just going to say I have ASD and I have heard of people doing similar things because it helps them go around their day better, (although I understand why it hurts your eyes, it does to me as well) but I’ll stay outta this convo

@HighPockets group

Yeah but like…maybe don't do it on a writing forum? I literally do not care how someone types in private but when they do so in public it's a nuisance.

@turnip
Honey, I'm autistic, and while I understand that typing a certain way can help you to process things better, that way of typing isn't good for a writing site. Just think about that.

Thank you.

School finally ends this week and I'm excited. Well, as excited as I can be for summer when we're in quarantine. But I guess I'll have more time to read? Oh and my show starts in July, I'm excited for that (we're doing it digitally and I'm irrationally upset that I can't go up to MN for it because I was banking on that for my summer schedule and schedule shifts mess with my head, and I also just really love the city).

ok i only included that i have asd 2 help explain ! telling me that im a dumbass n that im stupid bc of how i type is unnecessary. i mean i replace to with 2. like thats the biggest thing idk why thats such a big of a deal 2 yall. also this isnt just a writing website it has a big emphasis on writing but its for lots of other things 2 :) besides forums arent like a ""professional"" space so i dont rlly care im just here for fun! i wasnt even going 2 talk on forums so much i just wanted 2 introduce myself and peek at things here n there…sheesh..

@croccin-champagne

i'd like to be rude to the quarantine because. my birthday was supposed to be after it ended and now it's likely not.

here's to takeout at the very least

Being 16 years old
I guess some people make a big deal out of it but I just opened gifts and ate cake and got to get coffee from my favorite coffee shop for breakfast.

@berlioz

i think it's fine
type however you wanna type

I agree. I see how it can be annoying for most, though, but I'm not gunna be mad at someone because they have a typing preference. Especially if it's related to ASD and helps them process things. To go along with that, every person with autism is going to be different- just because some of you don't show a trait like this, doesn't mean it's not related to their autism. You don't have any juristiction to decide that just because you share a diagnosis. And like they said, you don't have to interact with them if you don't want. So just don't.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

Anyway, sweet sixteens..
