Is a hotdog a sandwich?
If the Universe was born at the Big Bang, what existed before then? (For all y'all big bang believers }:)
Why do cats purr?
What makes us human?
How can you be sure you exist?
If the universe is expanding, what is outside it? If there is nothing outside it, how does it expand to create void?
Why do we wait until night to 'call it a day?'
Why do we dream?
Are you really thinking what you read, or are you just reading and just not saying the words?

Okay, so. Space and time are not different, they are two different expressions of the same thing. Spacetime. And Spacetime was created by the big bang, thus time nor space nor Spacetime didn't exist before it, it doesn't make much sense to ask what happened before it as there was no 'then' and not concept of 'then' before that point. However, this, like many other ideas in cosmology, doesn't really make sense to our puny human brains. Imagine explaining color to a blind person. Difficult, huh? They have no concept of color, they're an exception to the standards of normal life. Also exceptional: the Mongols…. oh, you wouldn't get that one. What I'm trying to say here is that the universe is much more vast and complicated than we credit it for, we should all just love in the moment and not worry about stuff like this, ya schmucks. Helpful or no?
Can I do one too or do I debate on your topic?
Why do we dream?:
We dream to get out of this illusion known as reality. We dream to escape life. We dream scenarios that make our hopes and dreams come to life. Imagination runs wild in these things, letting you roam around, free to sit down and relax. We dream to grasp hold of something beloved, something so precious no one else except may see. We hide the secrets of a world unknown. We alter reality, we create an escape

An additional topic: is water wet?
Something becomes wet when it is covered in water. But water is already water. Is it covered in itself?
An additional topic: is water wet?
To say that something is wet means that the water on the surface of that something can be removed. You get caught outside in the rain, you say “Aw, my hair got wet, now I gotta get it redid.” If you put water on a towel, you'd say, "That towel is wet." And if you splashed water onto a mirror, you can see the water droplets ON the MIRROR. But, water in and of itself cannot be wet. If I could see the water droplets on the WATER, I could say "That water is WET." But you can not remove the water on the water, otherwise you get rid of ALL the water.
Boom.

"Wet" means saturated or otherwise covered in water. A single water molecule is not wet, but water is a collective noun. Even if we were to define wet as meaning that the water can be removed, it is still physically possible to remove water from water and separate it into individual molecules that are, by themselves, not wet.
What makes us human.
You want the scientific answer or the moral one?
Scientifically, to be human you must meet most of these qualifications, two forward facing eyes, excellent abilities of manipulation with our hands, an upright, bipedal stance. Five fingers and five toes on each hand and foot, two hands, and two feet, four limbs, and extremely developed frontal lobes. The highest capacity for rational and creative thought known to the universe. All humans are organisms belonging to the domain of Eukarya, the kingdom Animalia, the phylum Chordate, the Class Mammalia order Primates and so on and so fourth, we are all of the species homo sapiens sapiens.
Morally it is human willpower and goodness in the face of adversity and amazingly unfair odds. It is our highly evolved emotions and motivations colliding with our obstacles and blowing them away… Humans are adaptable, and we can be whatever we want ourselves to be. It is also our fear of the unknown, our hope, and our ability to have morals…
Ooh I HAVE AN IDEA!! Maybe we are given a topic and have to make it as deep as possible
Aight. Topic: Space, universes, the cosmos, etc. Let's start off easy.
(Ask it in question form so we have a specific topic to focus on if that is ok with you?)
How far does the universe stretch? Are there other life forms and if so, what do they look like? How many stars have literally just blown up, but we won't know until they disappear from the night sky hundreds of years from now? What would happen if the sun went out, and would if one of the larger planets replaced mars? Would if the north star burned out?
What if the North Star burned out?:
If the North Star burned out, we would lose part of history, part of direction. We would lose sight of where we are and where we need to go. The North Star guides us from places unknown, to places known. It leads us on a path to adventure, and allows us to feel where we are. It allows us to find ourselves in a place called home
Also sorry, I wrote this a while
Back actually and figured it was coincidental that it was a question here.
What Makes us Human?
Ultimately, assuming that you’re talking about from a mental or moral standpoint and not a physical one, nothing makes us human.
We chose to be human.
Being human is more of a state of a collective unification of emotions, say the fact that humans have bonded over the hatred of fruitcake. Or that we agree that killing people is wrong. Being human is simply having and expressing complex emotions.
Henri Nouwen is quoted as saying, “What makes us human is not our mind, but our heart”
Thusly further indicating that the idea of humanity is derived from the fact that we have these complex emotions, the one that Nouwen is referring to, being love. Many people will agree with this statement, as do I. Having emotions, especially being in love, is as human as human can be.
Yet this presents the issue that humans are not the only thing that can be human. An animal conservationist by the name of Damian Aspinall, and countless others, have proven that apes, one of the most intelligent species besides humans, can, and do, feel love. So then, Apes are human.
And this phenomenon doesn’t just stop at apes, dolphins have been documented as falling in love, with humans. And even swans, they mate for life, being sad and alone once their mate dies.
So, are all animals human?
In the end, there is no final statement I can make. There’s no right or wrong here. For if all animals are human, what could the ramifications of eating them, or even having some as pets, have? These are things that many don’t want to consider, myself included.
What Makes us Human?
The border we like to keep between animal and man is truly what makes us human. Not being able to communicate or see the human nature of animals is what separates us. Us not wanting to be animals or not wanting animals to be human, is what makes us human.
(On a side note, anyone want to join my new Rp called Time runner?)
