I've never bothered with an IQ test. Don't need one to know I'm able to count beyond two, do I?
Also, I found a cool article that if any of you have the time, you should read.
Here it is: https://theaspergian.com/2019/05/04/its-a-spectrum-doesnt-mean-what-you-think/
That was… such a great article. I actually kinda cried a bit while reading it because it feels like the author describes exactly what I’ve been trying to make my friends understand about it but failed to do
I’m not a huge fan of pizza but I like cheese, pepperoni, and pineapple (not too much though) and bacon (same as pineapple.) usually just the first two though.
Also I don’t really like to take IQ tests either. I know my limits, and I know how to do certain things. And that’s good for me.

Well, maybe you could show it to those friends, and they'll get it more? Idk. But I'm glad it helped.

Same, but I don't like pineapple. Ever. It just… I don't like it. Sorry.
My teacher is quizzing the class on the movie Remember the Titans and I'm internally freaking out because I know nothing about that film because I was gone when he played it in class.
I was diagnosed 2 months ago at the ripe old age 16
Cool. Unexpected things you've learned about yourself through that?
yo, i was diagnosed about 10 months ago and like it all makes sense now? like why my nail-biting is so bad(its my main stim, chewing, so i got a baby teething necklace and it's a LIFESAVER).
like why my nail-biting is so bad
I've been biting and picking at my nails for pretty much as long as I can remember and it honestly never occurred to me that this was an autism thing. Damn. I find that painting my nails helps though.
I honestly hate picking at nails. The sound of the weird clicking and the sensation just bugs me, but you do you.
not autistic, but i sure as hell am dyslexic
