forum Playlists for characters

So I'm crazy and I create Spotify playlists for my characters and add songs that remind me of my characters to them. It helps me better understand them. I so far have 15 playlists. Do any of you do the same? If not, would you try it?

I do the same thing for all of my story's!

I do the same, I create playlists for different scenes, characters, possible future stories, moods, and all of them are on spotify. It helps a lot with boosting the imagination and when you are writing a scene the music makes it feel like a movie! It also helps that when I'm rewriting or editing scenes to just play the set playlist to return to the same emotions I felt listening to the songs then and again.

I was just thinking about making a soundtrack for one of my stories.

It definitely helps with the mood of writing the story and getting into writing the character(s). I also highly recommend using Ambientmixer.com to make surrounding noises if you can't listen to lyrics and write!

I do this! And i recently changed up the aesthetic of the playlist names so instead of just being the character name, they're a weirdly specific description of the character's story so they feel like those oddly specific playlists ! here's one of em
