That literally is probably how everyone else felt about it too with that ending, including me.

What is Banana Fish about?

Banana fish is about a photographer (I think) named Eiji and a gang leader named Ash. Ash is like under the control of a person named Papa Dino. He's kinda like mafia in the story or the bad guy? Idk. You gotta watch it.
