It's not exactly romance. It's about a girl with cancer who's going to die in a year, but she hasn't yet full filled her dream of being a singer. These shinigami turn her into a 16 year old so she can be a singer, but she has to keep it a secret.

Oof I watched like three eps of Death Note and got bored. My friend tried to watch the live action movie with me. Did NOT like it >.<

You know a live action movie that really sucks? FMA's live action adaptation. SKMOMKEONFOINCIONSOFEN

Honestly I gave up after they got to "Lab 5". Everything's so out of order and WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU KILL THE ONE GUY WHO I WON'T SPOIL IT FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO WATCH IT FOR WHATEVER REASON?!?!?!?!?

Oops spoilers so I'll make it small
Also I didn't want to see my boy Maes die for the F O U R T H TIME

Lol FMA's live action movie was hilariously bad.

The problem with live action anime movies is this…

In the West, we don't like the values or aesthetics from the original and change it up into some bullshit that wears the skin of the original, but isn't it at all.

In the East, they just try to make a carbon copy of the original and don't have the budget or ability to make it happen.

Alita: Battle Angel was the first OK live action anime adaptation I have seen.

Oh yeah, so completely unrelated, but has anyone seen Kaguya-Sama: Love is War? I started watching it recently, and I love it so much.

No. What genre is it?

It's romance, I guess? But also comedy. Look, I do not watch romance anime, but I love it. It's basically a romance anime making fun of romance anime, and it's about two tsunderes (at least I guess they are) who don't want to confess to each other.

That sounds great, actually.

Yeah, it's on Crunchyroll. That's where I've been watching it. It's a newer show, so they're less than 10 episodes in, and they've been releasing a new one every week, so it won't take much to catch up if you do decide to watch it.
