I have an IRL friend whom uses Notebook on a daily basis. We were chatting the other day and they suggested a bunch of Notebook users meeting up somewhere. As Notebook's official pseudonym, I am to inform you all about this anonymously. Feel free to share your thoughts!
The friend also mentioned merchandise and booths where you could share your finished books, stories and other creations.
Ooh, I'm early!
As much as I love this idea, let's be honest; it wouldn't work out. You have to take into consideration the following (and more):
- It's relatively unsafe to meet up with anyone you have met purely online (although surely everyone who uses Notebook.ai is a safe, kind person)
- It would be awkward. What are you supposed to do, walk around asking who, I don't know, PancakeCowgirl226 is? (I hope that's not a real person :)
- Organizing would be tricky, as would finding a location… Which leads us into
- Everyone would have to travel to get there. Users live in every continent, state, and city, so everyone (except for a few people) would have to travel quite a bit to attend.
- One of Notebook.ai's best qualities is the ability to remain anonymous.
