Let me just say that this idea was based on a dream I had last night of me being born a guy and looking a rocking twink like that. Shenanigans ensued.

What the game is:

  • This is a game where you ponder what your name should be instead of what it is currently, for both your birth gender, your opposite gender, and a unisex name. You list each of these names in their respective category, along with a brief description as to why you think these names fit you. Then the next person gets to suggest names for you or agree with the names you chose, then list their own. This is meant to be a fun, thought-provoking game, so no fighting or insulting others.

Rules to play:

  • Spell the names specifically how you want them to be spelled.
  • Don't make fun of the names chosen by others.
  • Don't make suggest non-existent/fantasy/insulting/pun names for others. (Ex. Whoopie Buttlicker, Faera, Imanasshole, etc.)
  • Please make your reasoning as to why you chose the names at least one full sentence.
  • Be nice or I will kick you out.
  • Have fun.
  • Proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation, at least for the names.
  • If you feel uncomfortable filling out a category for yourself/don't want to out yourself then that is perfectly fine. I understand, and allow you to skip completing that category.
  • You do not have to use your actual name unless you like it and want to keep it.

I'll start us off:

@red The Scary Jack-O'-Lantern's chosen birth-sex name: Evangeline "Eva"

  • Why/Reasoning: I've always like names that started with the letter 'E' and it's sorta close to my name so it wouldn't be that hard to switch to if I ever wanted to be called this.

@red The Scary Jack-O'-Lantern's chosen opposite-sex name: Gabriel "Gabe"

  • Why/Reasoning: In my dream, I thought the actual genderbend of my name was stupid so I had to choose another, and for some unknown reason, my dream-self decided to go with Gabriel, of all names.

@red The Scary Jack-O'-Lantern's chosen unisex name: Rowan

  • Why/Reasoning: It's a nice unisex name and I think I look like a Rowan, if I was only a bit taller, that is. Rowan sounds like an outdoorsie, nonbinary name and it feels fitting to my personality and looks.

@Jynandor
Chosen birth-sex name: Bethany. I love it and was originally gonna be named Bethany, but my dad had a National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation obsession so yeah.

Chosen opposite-sex name: George OR Wesley. My parents considered these if they had a son, Wesley because of The Princess Bride, and George because of Of Mice and Men and also family tradition.

Unisex name: Jo. Cute, short, to the point. Could be short for a lot of names.
