So if you guys have any cool lgbtq+ books/characters you guys have heard of/made, I'd love to hear about them
Alright so these are web comics that are really good:
Check Please
A story about a gay hocky player in college. It updates really slowly though.
Tripping Over You
A story about two british boarding school students, and it deals with really relatable issues as it goes along. Updates Mondays and Fridays
Technicolor London (This one changed its name but I can't remember it)
A couple of band members and their relationships
Always Raining Here
A story about a horny high school student trying to get laid. (There's no actual sex though)
Starfighter
Sci Fi drama about a navigator and pilot's relationship (Nsfw warning)
There's also Oglaf, but thats REAAAAALLLLLY innapropriate
Thanks, guys! Now, introduce yourselves!

So yeah, LGBTQ+ books are amazing.
There was a book I really wanted to read about an ace girl whose girlfriend broke up with her for being ace, but I can’t remember what it was called.
Name: Alice
Age: 304
Sexuality: Aro-ace
Gender: Female
I've read Carry On. My friend was raving about it and forced me to read it. I don't want to offend anyone but honestly it was basically published fanfiction. It wasn't inherently bad, but I was kind of expecting some sort of award-winning novel after all the hype and it was just…teen fiction. Shrugs
If you're looking for LGBTQ+ in books there's always Rick Riordan's more recent series The Trials of Apollo and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, but I don't think the author himself is LGBTQ+ so it might not be the most accurate representation.
I like Solangelo and Jo and Emmie, but I dislike how he wrote Alex. I feel like he didn’t give her much personality outside of being genderfluid.
Also I feel like Apollo fell into the Bi Playboy trope.
@@jyandor hmm. I can see what you mean. I feel like that's just Apollo's personality, though. And there's no mention of him cheating on anyone (unless I'm forgetting something). I think he genuinely did love (what was his name again snaps fingers uhhh he was the big bad? And Apollo drowned him in the tub or something when he became power crazed?). Anyways, I don't think Apollo exactly fits the Bi Playboy type as I feel that he generally cares about his lovers but that he's just too selfish, bigoted, and full of himself to fully…agh I can't describe it. Am I even making any sense?
I kinda skimmed the Apollo ones though because I didn’t like his narration style. He’s too arrogant for me to enjoy reading about.
@@jyandor but his arrogance is what makes him funny! That's the whole point of his arrogance—it's hilarious.
