I don't really have many friends here, so I propose something simple to try and make friends or at least get to know some of you.

In my mind there are two ways this can work (please let me know if you think of any others);

  • You ask a question, I answer and ask you one in return.
  • You ask a question, provide your answer to your question, and I answer as well.

I don't really mind others asking personal-ish questions as long as they are appropriate and completely safe to answer. This being said, I'll do my best to steer away from asking personal questions of others because I know most aren't very comfortable with that.

Hello there!
I like friends and I'm generally too awkward to make them, so I'll be a friend. :3
Q. #1
What's your favorite day of the year? Mine is possibly New Year's Eve.

That's a good question! I've never given it much thought but I'd probably have to say July 4th. I just find it so calming to be outside on a summer night watching fireworks go off, and the sparklers are an added bonus!

@Kie group

Question: Favorite book genre?

Fantasy, it's definitely the easiest genre for me to focus on. The storylines tend to be pretty unique and although romance (which I usually find boring or cliché) is sometimes involved, it rarely plays a big part in a fantasy story.

Question: What's your favorite movie?

@saor_illust school

Hi, izzy here
Ooo more friends ? I'm in !
I'm pretty shy, so I don't generally tell people I want to be friends with them when I do, but yknow, that's just me. Once I get to know people I'm a whole lot less awkward I swear
but i digress, anyways
questions
yes

do you write ? if so, what things do you use to gain inspiration if at all ?
i generally put on some music

Ah, yes! July 4th is such an amazing holiday. It's definitely one of my favorites, too. Let's see…

I try to write but I usually end up scrapping whatever I come up with. My inspiration mainly comes from music, pictures, and cryptids. It's probably odd, but there's just something so aesthetically appealing about cryptids to me.

What book/movie/TV series character would you consider yourself to relate to the most?

Off the top of my head, probably Alice from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Throughout the book, you can see her trying (and struggling) to be patient with others who she doesn't really understand, and whenever she gets frustrated she kind of emotionally explodes (crying over the door, yelling at others when they're being nonsensical in her mind). I think I also relate to her in the way that even though she was the odd one out in the book, she always believed herself to be correct and stuck to her ideas about how things should work even when multiple people/things were challenging them.

Question: How would you describe your humor?

Oooo, I like that. Intriguing!

Question: How would you describe your humor?

Witty, yet dry. I get the greatest amusement out of quips and witty banter, and generally people in the real world don't get my jokes when I make them. Again, I can be a tad bit dry at times, so sometimes people don't even realize I'm joking when I am. I assume they just think I'm quite odd. I do enjoy memes though, and am greatly amused by the witty ones. I find humor in places where it sometimes shouldn't be. Like, if I'm reading a very serious book, a single mildly humorous line (which probably wasn't supposed to be funny in the first place) might amuse the heck out of me for no real reason.
What about you?

Question: What fandoms are you in?

Probably these? I've never seen myself as part of any fandom since I don't really participate in discussions.

  • The Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji Fandom. I've always enjoyed the storyline/art and am still keeping up with the manga.
  • Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I keep rereading the book and the Disney movies were so important to me when I was younger.
  • Dexter, because I for some reason enjoy the fact he's a sort of vigilante serial killer who also works in forensics and it's just interesting to watch Dexter interact with other characters since he's a sociopath.
  • Bandori/BanG Dream! Girl's Band Party. Although I've not much care for the storyline cause it's a slice of life, the game has provided me tons of entertainment and I know enough about the characters to not be completely oblivious to conversation about them.

I play a little guitar, draw, and play games with friends. I'm not very interesting, to be honest, but I'm currently considering learning to animate.

ooo that's cool

and hmmm i usually say blue or purple, but for the question, i think i'll just stick with blue/yellow
not only are they my school colors, but they also remind me of the sky, and happiness/peacefulness
for me, they kind of just give off,,, 'chill vibes,' if you get what i mean

My humor is either nonsensical or inappropriate. There's not much of an in-between. I'm the type of person who makes a 'That's what she said' joke then laughs their way into tears because their friend started playing the song Revenge. I've cried out of laughter and partial shock before because of watching my Minecraft dog get launched like 20 blocks in the air by a creeper then fall to its doom while everybody else asked me if I was okay.

I also like yellow! It makes me think of the warmth of the sun and hanging out with friends on a nice summer day. I must say I prefer the color crimson above everything, as for some reason it reminds me of a cozy day inside during the winter with hot chocolate and a pile of blankets.

That actually sounds like something I would do. I cried laughing because I got slaughtered by a baby zombie in the middle of the woods one night. On Minecraft, of course. I don't know if I'd laugh if I got slaughtered by a baby zombie in real life. I think I'd be concerned. Actually, I'd be dead.

Question: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? :0

Oooo, good question… Possibly Israel. Or New Zealand! I'd like to visit London, England, just so I can visit "221b Baker Street" and see all of the Sherlock Holmes stuff they have.

Question: What's your favorite type of music, and why?

@Kie group

Question: It's a rainy day, what are you going to do?

Probably play animal crossing and sleep
Question: Any games you play?

I mainly play Minecraft and Slime Rancher. Both are cute in their own ways and pretty chill, so they're good if I want to wind down. Although, Minecraft can also provide a rush of adrenaline if you're playing a competitive mini-game or a mob sneaks up on you.

Question: Are there any aesthetics/-cores you identify with?

Question: What's your favorite type of music, and why?

I listen to a lot of indie/alternative/rock that all manages to fall under the category of pop, so I guess pop if we're talking big-picture. If we narrow it down I mainly prefer alternative or 'edgy' music as my friends like to call it even though most of it has ties to pop.
