yes, it is!
In worldbuilding, you can use the templates to create aspects of your own world.
The forums are highly varied. This one is not really for writing, but several of the other ones are!

Honestly that's a good question.

It used to be used for writing, until a new generation of users came in and started swamping General Chat instead of using the Worldbuilding chats down near the bottom of the pages.

It may not be a good answer, but it's a truthful one sweats and looks at all the unfinished writing I should probably work on

Yes, it's for writing, but there's several different areas:

• General Chat
• Roleplaying Forums
• Genre Lounges
• Plot/Writing In General/Characters
• Questions and Answers
• Worldbuilding/Characters and such
• Forums specifically for books/tv/movies
