It's a pretty nickpicky thing, but in the song, there are these lyrics:

"Go make a legacy
Manifest destiny"

Anyone who's studied American History should know what the Manifest Destiny was. The Manifest Destiny was a twisted belief system that took early America by storm, causing them to believe that God gave them the rights to own all of America, and in the process, slaughter thousands of Native American's with no thought what so ever. This wasn't a single person's fault, but a twisted ideal that took those in charge and gave them the power to use religion as a reason to cause mass shifts in Native Culture like The Trail Of Tears all across America.
This song uses the saying in a positive way, and it bothers me a bit. Am I wrong, or is that not a little messed up? To use a saying that took so many lives in a positive way?

Everyone has different music tastes, and there's nothing wrong with liking something that other's don't. I know my entire family would rather listen to a goat screaming for four hours than listen to even a sample of my favorite song, doesn't stop me from thinking YoiYoi Kokon is the definition of absolute perfection in music form

Yeah, that does seem a little wrong, I doubt they meant anything bad though

Yeah, that does seem a little odd, I doubt they were referring to that though

It still bothers me as a history nerd…

@ravens

Like the extreme worldwide ADORATION over MCR, TOP, and PATD.

never listened to them, doubt I ever will. i have no interest. y'all can like what you like, I won't judge you for listening to them, but like
i'm just not interested.

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

How old is your sister? Mine is an annoying 12 year old…

I have two little sisters but the one I was talking about is 4, she very obviously can't rap and instead just makes a bunch of dumb noises, which is why my whole family has started referring to "Believer" as "bLE BDop bLE BDop BELIEVER"

Kind of like that one vine only funnier cause she's actually singing on key but with nonsense

I listen to a lot of EDEN/The EDEN Project (I HIGHLY recommend) and Suicide Sheep with some Monstercat and rock (Starset, Linkin Park, Caleb Hyles, Jonathon Young, Red and Three Days Grace). I also LOVE nightcore megamixes/ mashups/ regular megamixes because it gives a great song a new taste… I'm very strange.

I got hit with another bombshell… I'm not doing so good…

What's wrong?

@ElderGod-Winter-The-Renegade-Legionnaire book

Let's just say that the things going on with my grandmother's passing isn't normal, they have locked her medical files up, and family can't get to them, the hospital "lost" the pace maker they put in her, legal and law enforcement had to get involved, someone stole the flowers off of my grandmother's grave, along with her tombstone, and I was so close to ending it all yesterday, because I sat on my balcony backwards, 40 feet off the ground, and wondering if I landed the right way, that it would be instant. I didn't do it, nor have I tried it again, because I realized that my perishing would only cause more strife, and probably cause the death of at least one other person, I haven't had sleep in oh what 4 days now? I'm going insane, my mental state was fine before this, but now I'm not so sure, and that is how I'm not doing so hot.

@ElderGod-Winter-The-Renegade-Legionnaire book

Oh, I have only eaten what like twice? In 4 days? No I'm still not doing good. Called Elias at 2:33 AM and woke him up, he talked with me for two hours, and then I let him go because I felt bad for taking away his sleep, and haven't called him since soooooo that's also wonderful

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

Oh, Winter… I'm so sorry…
I know I've said this multiple times but I really do care, I want to help you through this in any way I can-
