Goodnight guys, It's 11:37 where I am and my laptop is going to die
Bye!
@Mindful_Bison In my opinion, it kind of is…
Emotions express how we feel in a certain moment. Some people have different emotions at different times. Also, the concept of peace might vary from person to person. It might be no conflicts whatsoever, where everybody loves each other, but someone who is at peace isn't necessarily happy. And being happy might not be what that person might want in that moment. They might have to have an outburst of rage to get something off their chest. Or they might have to cry tears of sadness. My point is, if you want the people around you to be happy, don't force them to, even if you have the ability to controll it. Let them be happy when they want to and sad when they want to. Just keep spreading peace and happiness yourself, man!
This is just my opinion, and might not be what you meant whatsoever, soo… yeah
Goodnight, by the way ;)
I think it's OK if you don't abuse it. It's not like mind control, but it's similar!
Yeah totally. How've you been, btw?
Huh. After years of growing up watching and reading about superheroes, you'd think I'd be able to answer easily, but I'm really struggling here.
My answer would depend on what world I would have powers in. If I lived in a world full of other people who had superpowers, I think power replication/absorption would be really cool. However, if I had powers in the world we are currently living in, I think I'd like to have plant manipulation. Totally not influenced by my favorite Gotham villainess Poison Iy.
Replication/Absroption (of other powers I imagine) really reminds me of Peter Petrelli from that 2006 TV series called "Heroes." Go watch it if you haven't. It's great.
I think those are neat powers. I like transmutation because it's like…
"You want to fight, eh?"
snaps fingers
"Now you're a giant slug with a human mind! Have fun trying to find shade and think about what you've done!"
Black hole manipulation is cool too because I could form a black hole in an irredeemably evil villain's body and shut it off when they're gone, but only if I gotta!
@Monoceros Just came up with a better one after seeing what you said: Spatial Isolation
The ability to remove myself from the physical plane. This way, I don't have to change anyone else. I just disappear, probably to a pocket dimension that defines peace for myself. Maybe a quiet garden with a small stream going through, where the plants tend to themselves and are always beautiful. I can't change anyone if I'm gone.
Now that I'd like to have! A sort of personal peace. Great idea!
Thanks. If only it weren't fiction.
I would want probability power. The chances of me getting a million bucks is zero, right? I just changed it to 100%. The chances of me getting an A in math? Now 100%. That or hydrokinesis.
Nice
I just want invisibility. Nothing else. All I want is to see what people do when they think I'm not around, and slip into places I shoudln't be.
That's all neat!!!
I can’t choose between being invisible and reading minds….. AHH
oooo invisiblity
Cloaking
Slightly different from invisibility. Can be invisible but, also put on a false appearance to hide my ugly potato self.
woah this place is alive again
Also cool idea
Thx.
I think I’d choose telekinesis. Everybody always talks about how they'd love to use Jedi mind tricks, but they only work on select people. I’ve always wanted telekinesis because I’m lazy and it sounds fun.
The power to be average at everything I try. So, I want to invent the cure for cancer? well, I don't get it, but I do invent a better treatment. I want to fly? Well, I can't quite fly, but I can jump pretty high/hover/etc. The power to be mediocre at talents no one else has, essentially.
That's… actually brilliant!
I saw it somewhere, so i'm not gonna take the credit lol. But it just seems like such a cool power to have!
