…i just got a sucker man T_T
I had to run out of my school because it was pouring. There was a crowd of people outside the door under shelter and I was stuck behind them for a few minutes before I got to the front.
Still got drenched, though.
Oof. It hasn't had a massive thunderstorm in about a month where I live.
Soo I have been in school for a month now and we are still doing review. Help me understand this. I swear she thinks we’re in 5th grade!

plot twist you're actually in fourth grade
The schools in my province might be going on strike (which is a bit ironic, since we were just talking about strikes in our history unit this week)
As far as I know the schools will remain operational in my town, there’ll just be no cafeteria workers and caretakers (which means no one to clean bathrooms, take out garbage, etc etc.)
This week has been fairly eventful.
Do elaborate please
I'm genuinely curious
Alright so this guy named Doug Ford keeps on taking money away from the education system. He hasn’t really done things I (and a lot of people) like, and his actions will lead to (if he gets his way) larger classes, which means harder for the teachers to teach, and harder for students to learn.
But back to the idea of the strike, it’s just the caretakers (janitors and such), cafeteria workers and educational assistants going on strike as far as I’m aware of. This means no one to clean the bathrooms, no one to clean garbage (regularly), and no one to serve food in the cafeteria. Some schools will also be closed for the time being, but as far as I’m aware of my school will be opened, unless the strike goes on for too long.
Of course, this’ll only happen if everything goes through, and I looked at news and the CUPE (union that a lot of the caretakers, cafeteria workers are such are apart of) might be bargaining on an agreement.
have any of you ever listened to jazz through one airpod with your hood up under a table drinking an iced coffee and scrolling through tumblr talking with your friends while you're supposed to be doing stuff for english because that's what I'm doing now and it's great not gonna lie
