Same but with the minimum stress of a simple test
Pacer test hell
we didn't do that this year and i'm really relieved
We don’t do the pacer or fitness in our JROTC program. Occasionally we run a mile, but there is no time limit.
Our time limit for the mile last year was 10 minutes. I made it in 9.58
Ha, in rotc last year, during the mile at the end of the year, my friend and I just didn't care because as long as we tried, we got credit. And they couldn't say we didn't try. So we ended up walking over half and we were both at like 16 minutes. My friend's on drill though, so she got chewed out, but I got off fine. Mostly cause I suck at PT. But it was fun
In my pe class, they made us run a mile in less then ten minutes and then the next day we did the pace test and my coach was kissed when we all complained we were sore for some reason
we get a job for two weeks and then go to them instead of going to school. We can pick almost any job we like, except for things like working at the police or something like that. During these two weeks we can either have one job throughout both weeks or one job per week. We don’t get paid. We all have to find working spots ourselves, so we had to write CV’s and stuff and then email them to places we wanted to work.
I’m going to work at a bookshop for one week and then at a book publishing company the second week.
Update on this! I am currently working at the publishing company and it is great! I am working on a manus from an author at the moment and well, I literally have their career in my hands. If I say that their manus is bad it wont get published… evil laughter
It's actually good tho, it's a vampire story with a gay main couple that is really otp-worthy and I really hope the company publishes it.
So… how are things with you guys?
People are drinking blood

that's really cool!
Yep! Tomorrow I am gonna proofread a book and take a look at the companys website to see if there is anything that should be fixed or improved. It’s really fun!
awesome! I actually love proofreading things lol
Yeah… I think it is reeaally annoying when I find a mistake in a book…
Don't even get me started on that. Once, I read a book (it was self-published by the authors) and ohhhhhhhhhh boy there were a shitload of mistakes. Whenever a character said "okay" it was written as "ok" or "Ok" and it annoyed me so much
And there was one instance where it described something as "baubles of light" when I'm pretty sure they meant bubbles.
And the occasional spelling/grammar errors? askdfaksjfljasdlfkjaskjdfkasjfkajsdfkjasdfkj it's not that hard
I knoooowww! In this manus that I just read the author didn’t even know how to spell ”varsin” (swedish for one each) and it annoyed the shit out of me! And especially when people write a compound word as one!
OOF
Apparently Blood tastes good
gtg, class ends in a couple minutes. bye! <3
Quick question, why are people drinking blood?
Our teacher teaches the forensic class and had a bottle of fake blood on the counter and some guys took cups and started drinking it. Apparently it tastes of chocolate.
Ah, that makes sense. Chocolate is good
The blood had the correct color It looked like blood but it's consistency was off and a bit thicker
Are u sure your teacher isn’t a vampire
She isn't. Also the guys who drank it are super hyper now.
