I started writing a book with the characters Amber Hanson and James Counter (they're teenagers). They are in the country MysticBack, on the back of a huge sea turtle named Mystic. The ocean is Red Abyss. What should the plot be?

Don't make them save the world.
Do you know what would be really cool?? If they try to destroy the world!! They're the villains! WHOOOOOO I love stuff like this!
Okay, make them discover something like a secret or a switch or a plug or something, whatever, and then they believe something, and then they attempt to destroy their world. They try but the whole world is against them. Maybe make them succeed. They can be YOUR protagonist. Make it from their perspective. Have them be the "good guys" but with a bad agenda that they believe is good. Tell the what-if-the-villain-actually-won story.
Thanks!
But should the turtle be against them or what?
Idk, is the turtle suicidal?
If it's the turtle's will, yes the turtle helps. Determine Mystic's stance first.
The turtle should be with them. It would make an epic alliance thing.
