The mighty beast's eyes flashed with anger at his words.
"This prince of yours is a…"
son of mine
The leader balked at the idea, shouting,"You lie!"
The dragon glared at him, and flames erupted from his mouth.
Another warrior stepped up. “If the prince is really a son of yours, then why do you insist on destroying the castle and the people! This isn’t what the prince would want you to do!”
The dragon let out a mighty chuckle that sent shivers down the spines of those below. "And how would you know, little man?"
“How do I know you are the father of the prince?!”, The young warrior shouted.
"I'll show you," the dragon continued staring at the young warrior.
“Show me what!”, the young warrior shouted at the beast.
"This," the dragon said mysteriously, and started walking but then turned to see if the young warrior was following.
The dragon held a mirror in its claws.
The young warrior looked at the dragon, confused.
"I didn't expect my son to by this foolish" said the dragon "You are my son, warrior."
One of the warriors pushed up the visor on her helmet, confused.
“What do you mean! How can I be your son!”, the warrior said, shocked.
The dragon sighed.
"My idiot son, …..
"Idiot?" He exclaimed with sudden furry, interrupting the dragon.
“If anyone’s the idiot, it’s you…
He shook his head in frustration, maintaining eye contact with the dragon.
"You're just trying to trick us!"
"But you know it's true." chuckled the dragon mysteriously, bobbing his head down to point to the symbol on it's chest, the very same symbol the warrior had.
The warrior didn’t want to accept the fact that the beast might be his father.
