OK so I have this one book I'm trying and failing to write and it's about this girl named Phoenix who was raised in a lab under the name Subject Eight. She can summon plasma (like, the hot gas plasma, not blood plasma) and use it as a weapon. So the title was originally gonna be along the lines of "Subject Eight", but now I've added another protagonist named Nyx (originally Subject Six) and she and Phoenix are like two kick-butt warriors. So I was thinking "Sisters in Crime" but that doesn't seem right bc they're not actually committing crimes… IDK.

I'm not going to say much as I'm very protective of this series and its core idea and values.

It's a series. Each book will have a different title, of course, but I'm running into an issue for what to call the over-arching title for the series. I currently am calling it "Champion," as that's one of the words I utilized a lot at the start of fleshing out this idea. This is in an odd realm of futuristic sci-fi and realistic fantasy.

"Champion" is a series that follows Talrius+Co. in a journey of discovering the truth about other cultures and the unwritten pasts from the historical "losers" of the Nine Nations. Along the way, the group also comes across many challenges, which include political schemes, sabotage, treason, criminals, an unfair war, and even solving the legend of the Firsts.

For reference of the vibe, I took early inspiration for the series from the game Horizon: Zero Dawn.

First of all, I know of a series that has a book called Champion. It's by Marie Lu. It sort of has the same vibe as what you are writing about. But here are five title ideas.

Exactly why I realized I had to change it from the base idea. I have no idea what hers is about though, so the fact that it has the same vibe as what I'm making has me quite a bit concerned.

Oh? I can see how you got a similar vibe, but the base ideas aren't alike at all, and further differ as we get more into specific details (I can't really blame you though, I kept my description as vague as I possibly could). You had me worried there for a hot minute.

I'm still gonna change the series' title though.

Book one and two need Titles, I haven't written slides for the other ones. The series as a whole needs a name too. There are 6 planned books, Three in the main story line and Three are more individual character based that happen before the main story. If you would like to think of names for the two books and maybe for the series as a whole it would be delightful.
