I should be so happy right now. My life is going good for once. I have friends, I have a freaking boyfriend. I got a 100% on a test(and i'm not bragging)
but I just feel like laying down and crying and I hate it so much. I hate feeling like this. I hate sadness. It's so controlling.

That happens sometimes. You can have every reason to be happy, you can have a great life, but you can also get overwhelmed or mental illness can get in the way. Sometimes it can help to rant about how you feel and just cry to somebody you trust and let them be there for you. Sometimes it's better to just cheer yourself up with a nice bath and happy music. Sometimes, nothing will help, and that's when it feels the worst. But that's when you have to be the strongest and just keep reminding yourself that it'll pass, and when it does, it'll be worth it.
I hope that you feel better soon, you deserve happiness.

I don't think I can really do anything about it cause if I just like, lay in bed and cry I'll feel stupid cause there is nothing to cry about..
actually thinking back, this used to happen to me all the time. I had symptoms of mental illness before I even knew what mental illness was.. My mom used to say it was just one of those days…

Yeah, Kmart… It happens to me too. I don't want to say it's normal, but it's not unheard of, you know? You're not alone. Take care of yourself (drink water, take a bath, take a nap, whatever helps you), and cry if you think you might feel better afterwards. Sometimes distraction is good too, whether it be with reading or watching a good show or movie, or playing video games- whatever it is you prefer to do to get your mind off things.
Thanks Bec. I have a lot of homework and my grandma is here so we actually have to have dinner so i don’t think I’ll get a lot of time to myself but oh well..hopefully I’ll feel better tomorrow.
I hope you do! And if not, that's okay. You'll feel better eventually. I say if you have time for nothing else in the realm of self-care or distraction, at least listen to some music that puts you in a good mood while you do your homework.
