@CoolBeanz
Yup.
Yup.
What's the Brother's Karamazov?
Oof
I'm not being dumb am I? If so I'm sorry but I have really never heard of the Brother's Karamazov
A Russian novel written by Fyodor Dostoyevsky about patricide and Orthodox religion.
No need to be sorry, man.
Ah I see… I certainly wouldn't want to write an essay on that
And today on "I am so glad I'm homeschooled"
I mean, it's a good book actually, way ahead of its time, but still essays are…. ugh.
I'm homeschooled, too, actually. But my father teaches college English, so guess who gets assigned all of his student's work as well?
I can imagine. What is the essay for? As in like a college assignment or like high school etc. I need to remember that a lot of people on Notebook are in America and their school system confuses me

Oh right! What is it like being homeschooled?
Well I suppose that answers your question then, Lily. It's a college essay, but I won't actually be going to college until next year.
Lol I'm supposed to be writing an essay too… the draft really. And it's not a true essay? More of a letter. But it's due at midnight, so there's that.
With my dad, challenging. But it lets me have time to write fantasy as well, and I can do SAT prep-work on my own time so that's a bonus.
Yeesh. Would you like help procrastinating or help with not procrastinating?
I'm in hs
Idk at this point honestly. I have a really heartfelt message and a bunch of good ideas, plus it is just a draft. So I'll procrastinate some more I guess.
Cool!
Ah I see. Well it's good that you have ideas!
See I'm not allowed to procrastinate anymore since I'm in college… I miss those good old days when I would be able to

XD
Yeah, this one's actually kind of neat. I'm taking a general education english course, and part of the course title is "understanding self and others." It's mostly up to the professor what the coursework is like. My professor has had a theme that's very oriented with the people around us and how they shaped our identity, so I've decided to theme all of my work this semester around found family if I can.
This one assignment is a letter to an unborn child (any future child of our choice). We're supposed to write about something in life we find important, and it seemed like she preferred we talk about family or friends and how they influenced us. I'm writing to my childhood best friend's future daughter about their mother.
Yeah, I imagine the amount of money used to pay for it would probably be a good influence on schoolwork ethic.
