forum I could use some help please

One of my friends is helping me write two books but she doesn’t have the same enthusiasm as I do. Any ideas about how to get her motivated or how to talk to her without offending her?

Hey! I understand where you're coming from, and this is a tough situation.

I recommend just being honest. Remind her that you can't do this without her– Or rather, you don't want to. Tell her how excited you are to work on this project with her. And make sure nothing's going on with her; sometimes when we have other stuff going on, we tend to lose motivation for what we love.
