forum How do you make a subclass?

I'm new, and I'm trying to figure out how to make a subclass. I'm creating a complex species(elementals) and there are multiple types of elemental, and I can't figure out how to make that happen.

You can sort of look at this like the description of humanoid. Humanoid creatures include anything bipedal and that can be found on the "Material Plane" (normal world) and has no influences to their birth from other worlds. Is that what you were asking about?
