That’s completely valid

Reasonable. …I did not know you could block people.

You can, although I'm unsure really what it does. I'm assuming it prevents someone from seeing ur profile and you from seeing their posts.

Yeah
Still pings you in the chat if they're blocked apparently

Staying up and having a hard time falling asleep are two separate things. Insomnia can be heavily caused by anxiety and stress. However staying up for two days and five and a half days, at a high school age, based on science and body functionality is highly unlikely. Let me list what happens.
24 hours no sleep- drowsiness, irritability, impaired decision-making, impaired judgement, altered perception, memory deficits, vision and hearing impairments, decreased hand-eye coordination, increased muscle tension, tremors, increased risk of accidents or near misses, and the equivalent of a blood alcohol level of .10, which means you can no longer safely drive on the road.
48 hours no sleep- After two nights of missed sleep, most people have difficulty staying awake. They might experience periods of light sleep that can last up to 30 seconds. During these “microsleeps,” the brain is in a sleeplike state. Microsleeps happen involuntarily. After a microsleep, you might feel confused or disoriented. Staying awake for 48 hours also disrupts the immune system. Inflammatory markers, which help your body prevent and target illnesses, start to circulate at increased levels. Some research has shown that natural killer (NK) cell activity decreases with sleep deprivation. NK cells respond to immediate threats to your health, such as viruses or bacteria. This also affects your metabolism, appetite, mood, and stress level. You will begin to see hallucinations.
After 72 hours of no sleep- functions such as multitasking, remembering details, and paying attention have ceased. This level of sleep deprivation can make it difficult to see even simple tasks through to completion. Emotions are also affected. People who have undergone this level of sleep deprivation may be easily irritated. They may experience a depressed mood, anxiety, or paranoia. Research has also found that sleep deprivation makes it more difficult to process others’ emotions. In one study, participants with 30 hours of sleep deprivation had difficulty recognizing angry and happy facial expressions. It's physically improbably that you can go more than 72 hours without sleep before your body begins to fully shut down.
Now I can see a baseline of where you get 2-3 hours of sleep a night, which is fully possible and can work with the sleep schedules you have so wonderfully posted. However, let's be real here, two days without sleep would have probably had you headed to an urgent care, and five days would have had you admitted to a hospital for organ damage and possible bodily shut down. Sleep deprivation-mediated inflammation may be associated with mild to moderate multi-organ damage, and the implications indicates sleep deprivation in humans may induce multi-organ injury that negatively affects cardiovascular and gastrointestinal health.

Huh. I feel like I experienced that micro sleep thing, at only staying up for one full day
A couple times I blanked out like I had fallen asleep, and it was like 30 seconds later. I didn't hallucinate though, so..
Well last night I slept for 13 hours so that is good

Oh boy do I know about sleep. Hi. Diagnosed insomniac here, let's drop the facts, that I've spent well over a year on, because I want to know how to get better sleep and take care of myself.

Thank you for putting sense to my words!!! You are the informed one here and I love that

Blocking people (the regular way, not the Mod way lol) hides the blocked person’s profile and posts from the blocker, even in PMs. It doesn’t take away the notif that they posted in a chat, it just hides their post.

(W Winter for settling this honestly childish display of "who can go without sleep longer")
(That being said, those two going without sleep for that long would potentially explain some things ❤️)
