'Summons strength to word my opinion cus I have a hard time wording things sometimes'
There are elements I loved about both the books and movies. The movies dimmed the important themes of the book and focused more on the love triangle (XP) The movies had interesting visuals for certain. I enjoyed watching a documentary on the developing and editing process. They wrote Haymitch and Effie better for the movie, and I feel that the conclusion of Mockingjay was a bit more satisfactory then the book. They did pretty good casting. I liked Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson's preformances as Katniss and Peeta, but couldn't quite wrap my head around it as they didn't look 16 & 15. (Age accurate casting is so important) All in all, I think the movies were decent adaptations.
^^Amen!
They were decent but they dulled Katniss’s character to a lovesick puppy, choosing between two guys, when in reality, she made a different choice every time. Prim. Prim was always her choice, and the movies almost entirely erased that.
YES
PRIM
Has anyone seen the documentary for the first movie?
No
But yall need to watch the studio c adaptations of it
They made it a musical
Its gorgeous
