Can i have help coming up with a character based off the beginning of a story

Ya, sure, genre and basic plotline?

Here is all i have so far

“Why. Why am I like this.” I could feel the tears go down my face as I sat up in my bed, scared. I could see the silhouette of the monsters creeping towards me. I knew not to scream, to not wake up my family. I just suffered in silence, quietly sitting there afraid. Afraid of everything.
