I have a animation program on my computer that I never use and I would like to start using it for making animatics. but I don’t know what I should make, I have already decided that I want to make the animatic so it links up with a song but I don’t know what song, what genre or what the animatic should focus on. So I was hoping someone could give me some ideas or suggestions to help me get started.
Well, could always go with the regular battle scenes that line up with rock music or techno.
I have always wanted to see one that takes a famous song scene from a movie and reinvents it. Such as the “Make a man out of you” from mulan, but from the perspective of the guy that is top dog in the war camp watch as Mulan slowly over takes him in skill.
If you like anime, you could even do one where it starts with one character doing an action that lines up with the song. Then, have a new character come into frame and the song changes to a new one as it follows the new character. Each song lining up with the charaters personality. Rinse and repeat until you are satisfied with results.
Animatics are so fun to watch, I’m trash at making them, but here are a few ideas:

Wow these are all really good ideas but I forgot to add that I am still a beginner so I won’t be able to do something really big. I like the battle scene idea though and I do love listening to rock and a little bit of dubstep so I might go along with that. I would still love to see any other people’s ideas though
Please make some She Loves Me or Ghost Quartet animatics, there is a lack of them….
