MY FRIEND NEEDS SOME HELP FIGURING OUT A BACKSTORY FOR A CHARACTER SHE ASKED ME TO HELP AND I'M DRAWING BLANKS CAN YOU HELP

What's the character like? Any motivations figured out yet? Ultimate goals?

(I'm quoting her words)
Okay so when the character was ten she was in a traumatic accident that left her in a coma for two years. When she woke up she wasn't the same anymore, she's more sad and closed off now. What kind of tragic accident would make her become like that?

…Physical abuse?

Hmm….no, that's not what she's going for.

A car crash. Plane crash. Train crash.

Hmm….she likes that line of thoughts. She wants to hear more abt it…..

Well, a serious head injury could cause any number of mental issues. Coma, amnesia, personality change, etc.

Ya know, cognitive recalibration and all that. Lol.

Personality change would be due to damage to the frontal lobe.
