I cringe so bad anytime i have to reference it to write my better stuff now, so i feel that

It was Pokémon, I think, but we both didn't like how they "needed" trainers, so we had a group of wild Pokémon just living in a treehouse and throwing rocks at people

None of the characters were introduced, there was five plots happening at the same time, at some point a god appeared and gave the protag superpowers only to never show up again-
