@Hey_Its_Snowy_And_Im_Generally_Confused
I’ve tried listening to Twenty One Pilots, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! At The Disco, but only liked one or two songs from each
whispers the mainstream ones

Lmao dude, I'm the same way
I don't hate cha…
I'm a bit different to where I hate rap
I started out like that but then for some reason my taste in music changed so much that there aren't very many songs that I hate anymore.
I relate so much.
It’s your music choice, though? It doesn’t matter whether you love something or dislike it, or you just like a few things from it and nothing else. You shouldn’t be afraid of what others would say because it’s your choice.
This is actually coming from a hardcore Twenty One Pilots fan.
tbh I've never listened to any of that

You could try. If it’s your cup of tea, welcome to the fandom. If not, then that’s fine, too. I’d suggest Ride by TØP.

Haha thanks, it’s just so many people on this site love these bands

Oh, well.

I would like to say they deserve it. Unlike many other bands (not all), TØP focuses on mental health and the likes.
However, it gives the fans no right to hate on you if you don’t share the same views.
Trust me, I like almost ZERO mainstream songs nowadays, and even some of the rock- and metalheads I know haven't listened to the stuff I like. It's fine, though. Not everyone has the time to listen to 2112 in a single sitting.
I have always hated Twenty One Pilots. Always. I remember when my older sister first started listening to them and I was so horrified at how she could ever like that garbage. While I don't hate them as much now and won't judge people for liking them, I still can't hear Heathens or Stressed out without having to plug my ears and turn on some anime soundtracks or overrated Taylor Swift songs or even Old McDonald Had A Farm for crying out loud just anything to not have to listen to it. And this is coming from someone who really likes Imagine Dragons and Fall Out Boy. (I've never heard any Panic! At The Disco songs so I can't say much about them.)
Maybe my hatred is a bit extreme but I just really don't like Twenty One Pilots, or at least not those two songs. I haven't heard many of their other songs, mostly because I don't want to.
I don't hate you
When I was younger I was so confused about how people were so obsessed with music, because personally I didn’t find it all that good. It was ok, but nothing I would want to play because I wanted to listen to it. Like all ‘popular’ music I didn’t like. The only music that I did like was christmas and Disney. That was up until 7th grade, until I actually found a genre of music that I did like. Now I understand why people are obsessed with music, I just personally don’t like their choices.
