@Moriarty

It was. He looked younger than I thought. If you’re reading this, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), how old are you?

I'm 28, but I can still balance things on my face like the good ol' days :)

A true Supreme Overlord if there ever was one.

How is andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) only 3 years older than me but has his entire life together? ie: built this amazing website etc etc

i'm obviously doing something WRONG. and failing as an adult.

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

don’t you have like 3 degrees a boyfriend and can speak multiple different languages fluently
how is that failing
if anything i’m the one failing as an adult because, well, i’m not an adult

lol–pickles yall arent a cult…………………………………….. :D

But thank you for putting it like that Ella. It made me happy.
It's just a kind of weird feeling when you've done stuff but your current life path has nothing to do with the stuff you've done so you feel like a square. (ie: I ditched my english degree and medical school to become a chef/sommelier–but now I work in Tech.)

so its just a lil funky and idk if it makes sense to you all but yea…

thank you for the comfort though! i really appreciate it <3

I think it's that windy path that makes our life stories so interesting. "I've been coding since I was 10" is kind of interesting but adding "then I got a coding job" and "then I got a coding job" ad infinitum gets pretty repetitive, even if I enjoy where I'm at now. I've always wanted to get more into art and music but never really swerved enough to give it the time, and I routinely think about switching paths from codemonkey jobs to something like being a police officer or something medical (though as much as I loved the few classes I took in college, med school is so daunting with how time consuming it is). I try to tell myself the key is to be happy wherever you end up and consider everything before then as just steps you had to take to get where you are. :)
