What's up writing people? In the past few weeks I've given out a lot of recipes and tips and stuff so I'm making this so I don't feel guilty for interrupting any chats. Please feel free to ask questions because cooking and baking are the only things I'm good at.
how the frick frack does one cook a simPLE MEAL? I just made ravioli and i messed up. Ravioli. I MESSED UP RAVIOLI-
Ravioli is simple on paper, especially if you're using already made pasta dough or just boiling already made ravioli but the fun part of cooking is that things can always go wrong. I could give you some simple recipes to throw together if you tell me some preferences and dietary restrictions.
Oh? Well, I kinda like my food plain and maybe a bit healthy. I can't really taste that much so you could technically feed me whatever. But I know that my parents kinda like everything, so I dunno-
And oh boy :) I'm allergic to so much but these are the only ones that belong with ravioli
- No garlic (Literally none.)
- No seafood (includes seasoning)
Lizzie is very good at this lol, she helped me with a cookie recipe and it was great, even if personal error did mess it up lol. TRUST LIZZIE

Oh boy no garlic. I’ve got my work cut out for me. Lemme do some quick resource checking.
Okay so I think I have three super good recipes for you:
Chicken parmigiana with veggies
Chickpea curry
Cucumber tomato salad
Tell me which ones you like and I’ll send over the recipes.
Chicken parmigiana with veggies and cucumber tomato salad sound good :)
You sound like you know your stuff @GameMaster! I bake and cook more Celtic/Nordic styles (along with Scottish food, example: haggis) so if anyone would like to know those types of styles, I would love to help if you don't mind me helping.
I know how to prepare and cook some pretty exotic stuff… Again, like haggis.
I've always grown up with mostly Mediterranean influences because my Mom is from Israel. I love doing desserts though so if I'm doing something exotic it's probably a dessert. Custard, souffles, creme bruleé, and an Israeli dessert I could not spell if I tried are kinda my fun special things.

Chicken Parmigiana with veggies-
1 boneless skinless chicken breast
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 egg
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 1/2 cup eggplant or zucchini diced
Canned crushed tomatoes
(Amount is up to you) mozzarella
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Put flour and half of the salt and pepper in a bowl. Crack egg in another whisk it, and place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat chicken in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Heat 1 1/2 tsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until crispy(about 3 minutes on each side). Remove from pan and set aside.
- Add remaining olive oil, red pepper flakes, and eggplant/zucchini to pan and cook until tender, about three minutes.
- Add remaining salt, pepper and crushed tomatoes. Remove from heat, top with chicken, and place mozzarella on top.
- Bake until cheese is melted, about 12 minutes.
Cucumber tomato salad-
1 English cucumber diced
4 Roma tomatoes diced
(Optional) 4 Ripe avocados diced
1/2 red onion diced
1/4 cup cilantro chopped
1 lemon juiced
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
- Slice then dice cucumbers and tomatoes
- Slice avocado and carefully remove pit. Scoop out inside and dice.
- Peel onion and remove tops, then slice.
- Chop cilantro and place in large salad bowl with previous ingredients
- Toss with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Cool! I would love to have some recipes if you don't mind. If you would like some Nordic or Scottish recipes, just let me know!
@GameMaster Oh wow- thank you!! Now I know what I'm making for dinner :)
@GameMaster Any idea on how to make a really good red chili? I've made the Cheesecake Factory White Chicken Chili, but I've never actually had a red chili that wasn't from a restaurant or out of a can before.
Something I often do often when I'm feeling lazy is I do a mix of a pre-made product and add to it to make it taste better. For instance, last week I made a marinara sauce using diced onions, tomatoes, minced garlic, and spices and adding that to a jar of marinara I bought at the store. I recommend buying chili from the store and then adding beans, onions, and spices to your taste. There's nothing wrong with canned and pre-made food but I like to upgrade it a bit.
Do you know any vegetarian recipes?
So many. Give me five minutes.
Pesto pasta, chickpea curry, and eggplant parmigiana.
(Sidenote: Gonna be slow today. I have a migraine.)
Thanks! I'll look into those! And no problem, I hope you're feeling better!
