Just wondering everyone's opinion on Cliches, because, personally, there are a few that I love to death

I like the "best friends since birth turned lovers later in life", but it has to be written in a realistic way and can't be completely out of the blue!

I like the broken past struggling to fight the evil inside cliche, really helps with character development
