I'm not sure of the rules on here when regarding charities, but I've been on this site for a while now, and I love it to pieces. It's also one of the only places that I have met a large group of people, so I thought it would be the best place to share this. My friend is trying to raise 100 pound for the NSPCC:
"Christmas is coming up and since Facebook is donating 2 pound towards whichever charity I choose, I thought it would be good to try and donate some money towards helping the charity NSPCC. I'm guessing that most people know what the charity does, but overall they aim to end child cruelty in the UK and Channel islands. Since it's close to christmas, it would be great if anybody could give 4 pound to support the aim in helping children to be safe and happy. If not, spreading awareness about this charity would be just as good. Thanks for reading this, have a merry christmas and happy holidays."
The lowest that you can give is 4 pound, and she has told me that she's really not expecting to reach the 100, but even the 11 pound that she has helped raise so far has meant so much to her and if anybody could help by sharing this or donating, I think that it would mean a lot more for the children that it's helping.
