Tales of Goldstone Wood, by Anne Elisabeth Stengl: These books are amazing! Maybe a little more than above your specified reading abilities (that will only improve as you read more), but amazing none the less. The first book is called Heartless (of no connection to the Meyer Heartless) and there are three short stories and a spin off series (The Family of Night, only one book so far). You should also know that the author hasn’t completed the series but can’t write anymore for it because she isn’t making enough money off of them (and she just had a daughter, whom she named after the main character of Heartless.)

The Ranger’s Apprentice, John Flanagan: This should be a good read for you. It’s a twelve book series with two spin offs (The Early Years and The Brotherband Chronicles). It tells the story of an orphan named Will and his life as a Ranger’s Apprentice.

The Wormling, Jerry B. Jenkins: This one was written for middle schoolers and contains five books, the first of which is called The Book of the King. The story is amazing, but it’s not very well written.

The Ascendance Trilogy, Jennifer Nielsen: I HIGHLY recommend this one. Three books, first one called The False Prince. It is amazing. I can’t say anymore or I’ll ruin the plot. Just read it.

A Search for Honor, Sean Reilly: The guy who wrote this one struggled with PTSD because he was in the US Army. He wrote the book to help him overcome that. It’s really good, though and a little gory at times.

A Hero’s Guide To Saving Your Kingdom, Christopher Healy: This one is hilarious. It makes fun of all the fairytale nonsense, like how every prince is called “Prince Charming” and that sort of thing. Don’t read this one in public because people would be disrupted by how loud you would laugh. Trust me.

Just some authors to loook into:

Cornelia Funke
Lemony Snicket
Wayne Thomas Batson
Donita K. Paul
Oliver North
C S Lakin
Stephen Lawhead
Suzanne Collins

Not all of these are in the reading range you stated, but they’re still worth putting on your list for a later date. Keep on reading!

Lost Stars is a Star Wars novel, so I’m not sure of that’s your cup of tea, but it’s very good, as are the Doctor Aphra comics. Also highly recommend Jacky Ha-Ha (both books) by James Patterson, and Alex and Eliza by Melissa De La Cruz

I have SO MANY book suggestions but here 3 of my favourites:

1). Throne of Glass series.
These series is AWESOME. The author (Sarah J. Maas) is far too talented for her own good! She gave me a gigantic rollercoaster of emotions (I've cried, laughed and wanted to scream sometimes)! I'm almost done with the 6th book (also, there's a prequel) and I almost don't want it to end! I'm not gonna say what it's about since Maas tells the story better than I ever will. Although there are some "interesting" love-related scenes (if you know what I mean) and a bit of swearing. The books were still awesome and extremely entertaining, though!

2). The Peculiar (and the second book is called the Whatnot)
I recently finished this book and, oh boy let me tell you, it was amazing! Stefan Bachmann had me practically begging for more! The "big" or "intense" action starts at about the middle of the book, but if you're a curious soul (like yours truly) or any other human being that just happens to like to read, believe me this will hook you so much on the first few sentences that you will basically cry when it comes to an end. (Although I got kinda mad at Mr. Jelliby, or as I like to call him, Mr. "Jellybean", for thinking Bartholomew was ugly. HOW DARE HE?! But it's ok, his name compensates for it.) I still haven't read the second book (and I'm not 100% sure if there are more), but I'm convinced that it will be just as good, or maybe even better than the first one!

3). Percy Jackson series.
I love this series so friggin' much you don't even know. It's the second series I ever read (or at least finished) after Harry Potter (which I also recommend if you haven't read it yet!). I loved the books so much that I decided to check out the movie. It sucks. Don't watch it. It horrible. It got everything wrong. Everything. From character design to plot and order of events, I got really mad. Again, Don't watch it. The books are WAY better. They're really funny in some parts but also really intense and dramatic in others. Really recommend it!

Ok, I'll stop now since you could ask me about books I've read and I could talk for DAYS! Have an awesome day! I hope you read some of these! ◕ω◕

OMG How could I forget?!?!?!

Witch and Wizard by James Patterson!!!! Amazing series! There are also some hilarious comic books about this series (but it didn't include the last 2 books T^T). A must-read!

Uhh well I mostly like fiction (fantasy, realistic, and sci-fi especially). The book I just read was called Good Omens by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman.

Mila

The Breadwinner by Deborah Ellis, very good and very touching
Daughters of Time by Mary Hoffman is so so good and very interesting
If you speak French, Le Pays Qui Te Ressemble by Fabrice Colin is amazing
The Help by Kathryn Stockett is AMAZING and has a VERY cool POV
Queenie by Jacqueline Wilson is very cute, a bit childish but worth a read (it's very quick)
Wonder by RJ Palacio is also very good, has interesting changes of POV
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is REALLY well written and has a very cool plot and mix of genres
Last but not least, I absolutely swear by The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, they're not popular with everyone but give them a chance

Reading level of a 4th grader??? Though I wouldn't recommend it to a 4th grader, Larry Correia's Monster Hunter International series is a nice blend of humor, supernatural, and action. Any of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series would be fine for all ages from what I can recall. I personally would recommend Going Postal or Making Money, both are wonderfully hilarious and books I read back in 3rd and 4th grade. Anything Discworld will be pretty intriguing, as the book series takes place in a world on the back of a giant flying turtle, upon which rests four elephants, and finally the world itself on the back of those four elephants.

Actually Discworld is more of an adults series, but finally I meet a fan!

The Starbound trilogy by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner is really really good. 10/10 recommend.
Same goes for the Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.
