I think Sherlock was brilliant, but I completely agree with the last two seasons lacking something. I was more so unimpressed by season 3, than season 4 (with the exception of the Abominable Bride. That was brilliant) as it seemed that the show was less about amazing crime work, than John's resentment of the main character– which puts a big portion of the show at risk, I would think. (Considering when the two main-est characters are bickering, arguments are inevitable because the main characters must at some point meet…)
But still a great show, nonetheless.
