But the poor flute man.

Just think about it. It doesn’t sound like the worst thing.

They can be

But they're B flat instruments

But I… I don't know. That wouldn't work for me. I just need to focus, but I can't focus.

@Relsey-TheElder

The Flute is in concert pitch, which means its in C, The trumpet is a Bb instrument, I think the Clarinet is also a Bb instrument the flute is not. This is why when you play middle C on the flute it's Middle C on the Piano. For a trumpet playing B flat is Middle C and they have to transpose a note and a half on everything written in C or in Concert pitch. I think that's how it works anyway But I could be wrong.

Oh wow

I’ve played the flute for four years

Guess I’m wrong haha

OK I WILL REPEAT THIS AGAIN

THE C FLUTE EXISTS

BUT PRIMARILY, FLUTE IS A B FLAT INSTRUMENT

HOW DO I KNOW?

WELL I PLAY THE C PICCOLO WHICH IS SAFE TO ASSUME THAT THE FLUTE HAS A C FLUTE COUSIN

HOWEVER BOTH VARIATIONS ARE IN B FLAT AS WELL

THANK YOU
