Because it's a lil thing about our beliefs in God's plan
We believe that before we came to Earth, there was a war in heaven over who to follow- God or Satan. 2/3 of the spirits chose to follow God, and 1/3 chose to follow Satan.
I just used that as the basis for a fracture in a social group to help establish one character as being on the wrong path
