Honestly, the next best thing to trick-or-treating is just going to the after-Halloween candy sales, and let me tell you, get there at just the right time and you get the best haul of your life! No costume required (though you certainly CAN wear it, I don't judge).

well I went to church, that's kinda the opposite of Halloween

I once wore my General Hux costume, the full costume, hat, trenchcoat and all to a Walmart, and literally no one there noticed.

It's Walmart. Of course they didn't. Lol.
