There should be an Icon on the top of you bottom main interactive screen. I believe it is orange with like a smiley face.
click that
your card should pop up (Maybe). It should be the first one to pop up. It will feature you mii if you have one. your favorite game if chosen. Your name and friend ID code.

Basically to become friends we need to share that little code. somewhere in that screen tab area there should be an add friend button and that is where you put your friends
