This summer I'm wanting to create my own amv for my story/comic that I'd like to style in a cartoon/anime appearance. I was going to animate different scenes of the story and make an amv, but the thing is..I don't know how! I've learned how to hand draw animations but I've never dealt with video editing lingo. I know this isn't the sort of stuff that writers would know but I wanted to ask anyways because this is really the only forum I'm regularly involved with. Even the slightest hint would be a great deal, I hope someone can help!
i know a little bit…
a few things i recommend using are MediBang Pro, Sketchpad.Io, WeVideo, Photoshop, and Adobe Animate. Other than that, i have no idea. Hope this helps somehow!

omg i'm have the exact same problem! Animating is freaking hard, especially when your not that experienced. What I do, is line, color, etc, in paint tool sai, then put it together in photoshop. The way i do it is definitely not the easiest way. Like, Oaki Doki said, those are some programs that allow you to animate! I know that medibang sometime recently made it so you are able to animate and its actually pretty easy, i've been meaning to try it out! But i've also never put sound into my animations so idk how to do that
I'll try to look into those programs thank you, I'm not worried about sound for now because I have a partner in this project who creates his own music. He said he'd be able to help me edit the overall video, but it's up to me to animate and transform it all into digitalized pictures. I actually don't know how to do that with hand-drawn pieces, but I also don't like the quality of my art programs that I use for digital drawings. I've tried to install Paint Tool Sai but it only allowed me to use the trial version, and then pay for the rest which I can't do. I have been told that it is free, but I can't figure out how to get it that way.
Ah I see. I actually downloaded paint tool sai for free!
During my trial using Paint Tool Sai, it was pretty overwhelming. I'd give it a solid 10/10 if I actually knew how to use it properly. There are so many options on there for every single thing, I wish I had longer to use it and learn the program. It's definitely a lot better than the art programs I have. Maybe I'll try to download it again
Yeah, it is pretty advanced. That was how I was when I first got it, then I looked up a bunch of tutorials, messed around for a while and experimented, and eventually I can' use lik 98% and know what i'm doing.
