It's a personality indicator.

I-Introversion or E-Extroversion
N-iNtuitive or S- Sensor
F-Feeler or T-Thinker
P-Perceiver or J-Judger.

It's a little hard to explain, I'm not an expert so you should look it up! Find a good website, not tumblr lol.

I like to use this as a quick summary for my characters' personalities, but this does not sum up a person. It's just preferences and a person is not wholly and just their myers-briggs.
