The multitudes of Captain, Commanders and all other ranks and people from the Lost Fleet have been reduced to just eleven members spread across just six ships. Will you help them, or will you try and destroy them and their Battle cruisers? (I will link character sheets when asked or I will post them all in a separate post to this, promise!)

Of course!! Sorry for my late reply, but I'm always looking out for new RP'ers. <3 Just link whatever you want as a base profile while I try and finish up on the Lost Fleet universe and its characters.
Is this based on something? I'm looking for new places, but I want to know what I'm about to jump into.
It's based on the Lost Fleet but I allow everyone to bring in everything they wished since not everyone would be able to know the series and be able to purchase the eighteen books and six comic issues. Though if you do want to read the series, it is done by Jack Campbell who also goes under the another name of 'John G. Hemry'.
Any quick facts you can throw at me for ease?
Lost Fleet physics act a lot like on Earth, you try and manoeuvre your ship too hard in a turn, you'll crack it into pieces. Lost Fleet communications take 'light-minutes' to 'light-hours' to reach specific ships depending on how far away one ship is. Lost Fleet, in regards to speed and size, are almost slower regarding ship sizes, a Battleship will have half the acceleration a Battlecruiser does. An auxiliary, will have probably a quarter acceleration in regards to a Battlecruiser.
Each ship has its own defenses, strengths and weaknesses in regards to its fleet. A Battlecruiser may have speed on its side, but in comparison to a Battleship the weapons will not be as great at battle. That alright for an explanation?

@"Mr.Misfit" it's fine by me about whatever you play!! I'm currently doing up another Captain support role for this so it'll be eleven characters because without a Battleship, I don't think my Fleet would survive lmao. But you can bring in however many characters you want and add whatever backstories you want to them!!

I don't mind how long this gets, it can be a four-way battle for all I care lmao, but you can come in blind because I will do my best to describe what the ships do to the best of my ability, what each weapon type does, all the sort of real-world stuff.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but the roles can be whatever you want! I'm only writing my Fleet as like Ensigns, Lieutenants, Chiefs, Captains, Admirals or Fleet Admirals. You could perhaps have the same sort of system or have a different system of ranks entirely, I don't mind myself, I like spreading creativity and all!
Alright, I like this. Do you usually use a character template or nah?
I don't really mind if people use a template and all that since I'm writing my characters up, I'll post links to each of their of profiles so you can use pre-existing ones or write them up on the spot! I don't mind if you also bring new characters up during the RP because you felt like it. The more, the better the variety but if you need a template I'll try and make one up soon.

The character is fine! Seems like a brilliant new race to be honest! Idea's pretty good as well to me, I'm going to try and finish up Casia but I'll link the other ten characters soon I promise. They're all in the works so not all of them are 100% done.

Well, eleven characters run between six ships. It would keep my writing on top in a sense but I'll mostly be RP'ing 4 from the flagship Dauntless. Is it unheard of to run so many characters in one thread?
From one person, I've never seen it. I'd be worried over screwing up the characters personalities. Granted, a proper writer would have to worry about it anyway, but that's a little different, I feel.
I'mmnot saying you shouldn't, that just seems daunting.
To new players maybe, but I remember each of their personalities well enough, even if I haven't fully completed one persons BG and such. I am planning on becoming a proper writer in time but it's not really something I struggle with when I write these sort of replies.

The character is alright to me!! I know how it looks, as it's a little rushed but during the RP you can always develop it, which is the greatest thing about these characters. I surely hope my Fleet Admiral doesn't see yours as competition!!
