"There's no need to be afraid of bats," Dwyane said quickly, "vampire bats only live in the tropics of Mexico, Central America, and South America, the least thing you should be afraid of here is snakes and starvation… Bats are actually really cute."
(I mean look how cute they are :>)
Dwayne nodded then tuned back to the endless black void. "I wonder how far back it goes."
“Don’t know,” Charlie said. “And I dont really want to find out.”
William picked up a rock and attempted to throw it into the void. The rock barely left his hand. "That's probably the reason I failed gym," he said, referring to his weak throw. "What do they expect us to do?"
"Die?" Dayne said simply, "Or somehow survive all of this?"
"Can we go back the way they brought us, or are we just supposed to move ahead? There's not really any noise up there. It's just this static sound, and silence." William said, leaning back against the wall.
"We can't go back the way they brought us…" Dwayne muttered, "Their probably guarding the door of something, going ahead is our only option but I doubt if will lead anywhere." He turned to his Willian and then to Charlie, "Plus, some of us here are to injured to travel." He then gestors to his missing arm and badgered stab mark.
William avoided his gaze, ignoring the sick feeling that rose once again at the memory. "Yeah…" he whispered. His eyes wandered around the cave. He strained his ears trying to listen to the low static sound coming from further into the cave. It was quieter, but still loud enough to cover up any sounds that might be coming from that area. It was almost like someone was trying to block out the sounds over there, for whatever reason.
Letting out a long sigh, Dwayne attempted to get up on two legs, but he only managed to get up onto his knees. Shuffling forward, the cave floor stopped suddenly and dropped down a few feet, and the rest of the ground was full of small cavities. "Its a bumpy way down…" Dwayne murmured, glancing around at the whole area, "I bet the cave narrows down farther out."
“Do we really want to know where it goes?” Charlie muttered drowsily, crawling towards. “It- aaahh!” She tumbled a few feet down.
"Fork…." Dwayne muttered, watching as she dropped down, he clearly did not care if she hurt herself.
(Should I move this RP to one of the new Rp boards?)
William winced and covered his ears at the scream. "Is.. Is she okay?" He asked quietly, looking over at them while trying to hide the pain in his voice.
"I don't know and I don't care." Dwayne said, backing up from the small drop.
Charlie whispered, “Guys? There’s something down here. It’s… I can’t tell…”
"I don't think it was her who did it, Dwayne." William said, getting up slowly and walking over, wincing at every loud step. "She's really young. She wouldn't do something like that willingly." He looked down at the sound of her voice. "Charlie?" He whispered, ignoring the fact that she probably wouldn't hear him.
"Well go see her them." He muttered, letting his legs hand over the edge. "Go check up on Charlie.."
Fear flashed across William's face. "Fine. I will." He let out a shaky breath and sat down on the edge, slowly moving his leg down to feel for somewhere to put it. He shifted slowly, gripping the ground like it was going to kill him as he lowered himself. He foot scraped against the wall, making a sharp noise that caused him to wince in pain and loose his grip. He fell right next to Charlie with a crash and a pained noise before curling in on himself and covering his ears.
Dwyane shrugged back as William hit the ground. Letting out a annoyed sigh, he managed to get up and walk to the wall of the cave where he found stable ground to climb down on. "Keep an open eye," He said, glancing around then quickly walking over to them and helping William up, "We don't know what's down there."
William bit the inside of his cheek and nodded, choosing to ignore how the static sound had gotten louder and the dull ache in his head that came with loud noises- like his body crashing to cave floors. He instead held onto the arm he had fallen onto. "There's… static. And darkness."
"And a sleepy Charlie.." Dwyane finished. "Or…. A.. Uh… Knocked out on one?? Hello?? Are you alive?" He then pocked her with his foot. "Hello?"
