well i perfer you start as a beginner because this is a beginner crew and their supposed to have a 20 or 25% expirence to begin with so i would go with you as a captain.
by the way how this roleplay works is we kinda have to work on the story together for example the
1.when your the captain you make the misions(unless main missons by hq i will determine those)
2.when your the medic you make the types of medicines or herbs and their effects
3.when your the engineer you make the technology such as weapons, gadgets, armor ,and what they do
4.when your the pilot you make the types of vehicles and the defenses that come wit it (air,space,water,ground)
5.and when your the navigator you make the locatons and whait type of terrain it is
